A fun and energetic cover band born out of a group of talented musicians with diverse background and united by a common passion: bring the fun to the party! Whether at a bar or a private event, the members of the Role Models are committed to entertain crowds and make people sing, head bang and dance to the notes of 90's-00's rock/punk/emo/pop anthems.
MEET THE BAND
ANGELA
Vocals
Angela started singing in church with her Nana at the age of 5, and has been in a variety of cover and original bands since her early 20s. She loves the open communication and positive, fun energy Role Models brings to the room.
*Big influences: Fiona Apple, No Doubt, Sheryl Crow, Aerosmith, Joan Osborne, Alana Davis.

JASON
Guitar
Jason is a San Diego native who started playing guitar as a teenager. He honed his skills as longtime lead guitar of a local originals band, and is enjoying the fresh, collaborative spirit of Role Models.
*Big influences: Jimi Hendrix, John Frusciante, Led Zeppelin, Pearl Jam

MIRKO
Bass
Born and raised in Sicily, Mirko started playing bass in punk-rock bands as a teenager. But it was his experience with bands playing Soul, R&B, Funk and love for Disco and House music that influenced and molded his playing style. After a long hiatus, he has finally found in Role Models that infectious mix of chemistry, fun and energy.
*Big influences: Everything Motown, Earth Wind and Fire, Jamiroquai, The Killers, Arctic Monkeys

JIM
Drums
Jim is the latest addition to Role Models and a welcome burst of energy! Jim has been playing drums since he was four years old on kid sets. Growing up in the Pasadena area, he got his first professional set at the age of ten and has rocked out with major SoCal 90’s bands including No Doubt and Sublime.
